Gaia

Gaia

A Makgeolli Rooted in the Earth, Layered with Exotic Spice
DESCRIPTION

A makgeolli rooted in the earth, layered with exotic spice.

A collaboration between Korean dining restaurant JU052 and GGULGGEOK HOUSE, created as JU052's first signature makgeolli to pair beautifully with food.

Inspired by stout beer, this makgeolli is brewed with porcini mushrooms, cardamom, and cacao nibs, adding earthy aromas, warm spice, and a delicate bitterness to the familiar character of rice wine.

Named after Gaia, the Greek goddess of the Earth, it explores the possibilities of bringing together Korean cuisine, traditional makgeolli, and contemporary brewing.
